Experienced cat owner of a diabetic cat with many years of caring for cats.

Hi everyone, my name's Emma and I currently live in Bolton but I am happy to cover most areas of Greater Manchester.

I have always had at least two cats growing up and so have over 24 years of dedicated experience in caring for cats, demonstrating a profound passion for these wonderful animals.

My expertise extends to the specialized field of caring for diabetic cats, where I have provided diligent and compassionate care, including administering insulin treatments and home testing.

My deep love for cats is the driving force behind my extensive knowledge and unwavering commitment to their well-being, making me a trusted and experienced caregiver for your furry (or fur-less!) loved ones.

One of my previous cats unfortunately had nasal cancer and caring for her meant I gained a lot of experience in administering pain medication and caring for her especially during periods of lethargy and post-surgery, ensuring wounds were kept clean in order to heal correctly.

I currently have a diabetic a 9 year old cat called Oreo and he receives insulin injections twice a day and also regular home testing using a blood glucose monitor.

I have lots of experience with practical tasks such as feeding, tidying up and litter tray cleaning etc, and of course providing lots of cuddles and playtime.

I have always loved cats and believe there's nothing more rewarding than being able to provide excellent care for a cat and building a rapport with them to gain their trust and affection.

I can provide daily visits and also overnight stays/longer term stays with your cat.

I am happy to administer medication and monitor glucose levels as I know it can be quite stressful if you are away from your diabetic cat. I am also happy to be shown how to administer other medications/provide assistance with any other medical conditions your cat may need help with.

I have a full driving licence and car and so if a medical emergency arises and your pet needs to be seen by a vet, I will be able to transport them.
