Availability
I work part time with highland council , my work is flexible enabling me to fit cat care around it , I can visit before or after work and at lunch time on the three days I work . I have four days off so plenty time to look after your cats .

I cant unfortunately offer boarding at this time due to having my own pets . Maybe one day I will look into this . It sounds like fun .

I like to know their likes and dislikes, feeding instructions and if they are allowed outside, also if any medication is required clear instructions when they are to receive it , it is also a good idea to have vet information at hand in the unlikely event that they need to see the vet whilst you are away . Having an emergency contact number is really useful also .
A typical day
I will play and cuddle your cat if it will allow me to, I will also wash bowls and provide fresh food and water at each visit , I will clean and sanitise the litter tray also , I can carry out some other tasks such as collecting mail , watering plants , putting bins out and opening and closing curtains , and I don’t mind running the hoover over the floors before your return .

Hi I am Kathy and currently work part time as a community early years practitioner with the health visiting team , due to the nature of my job I have an enhanced disclosure certificate held by my employer, I also have public liability insurance for pet sitting , I have owned and loved cats all my married life of 40 years , I have three little boy cats Jake , Nigel and Marley, in the past I have also done some voluntary work with the cats protection league, I adore cats and getting to know their personalities😻 never getting two the same 🥰 it’s always a privilege to look after and take care of your cat/cats whilst your away and I will keep in touch regularly with photos and updates so you can relax and enjoy your time knowing they are being cared for in every way possible 😻

I would highly recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. She came to meet my cat a couple of days before I went away, which gave me great peace of mind and allowed us to go through everything properly. Throughout my holiday, she was incredibly prompt, professional, and attentive. She kept me updated with photos and messages, which was so reassuring and showed how well my cat was being looked after. Kathleen looked after our wee Iskra while away in Spain. She made sure she was fed watered, litter box cleaned and played with everyday. Amazing details from each visit and pictures. We loved the toys and treats she left for Iskra one the last visit. She even took the time to water our plants! Will be booking again.
Kathy was lovely and made me feel at ease leaving our new cats at home. Sent me pictures and updates and the cats were looked after very well. Would definitely recommend her and I will be booking again. ☺️
