Cuddly Cat Sitter

Hi! I'm Melissa, a 20 year old student studying Video Game Art and Design at the University of Brighton. I'm currently located in Moulscoomb, but my schedule is often open and flexible. I love cats! I have since I was a child. I have always been quiet and shy and have always appreciated their gentle companionship. I have two cats still living with my mum back in London, Fifi (female tuxedo, 12 years old) and Spock, (male Bengal-Siamese hybrid, 18 months old) who I love and miss deeply.

During the initial stages booking I will consult with you on what you feel your cat needs, and how I can best help support you both. If you are comfortable, I will meet with you and your cat and we can see how we get along. If there is no connection, or any issues, there is no fuss, and no worries. As a university student I will have to fit my visits around my course schedule, however I am only in classes 10 - 12 hours a week maximum and will be able to fit feedings around my classes. I am experienced in fussy, skittish and tricky cats, having rehabilitated my lovely Fifi when she was brought to me grief stricken and in a bad condition, and raised Spock since he was a little kitten. I also have experience in administering medication in the form of pills and liquid solutions (not injections but syringes) to cats and providing care to older, more unwell cats. I always do my best to respect the boundaries of my little friends, while also doing my best to support their needs and comfort, as well as yours. Your cat will have all my attention. I am happy to come by for feedings, medication, litter cleanings, and the occasional cuddle with plenty of pictures and updates as needed.
