About Me
Reliable, sweet, and affordable care and cuddles
Hello! I am a postdoctoral researcher and I'm currently training toward becoming a life purpose and mindset coach. I'm super organised, reliable, responsible, and deeply empathetic. I have lots of free time, and even more love, patience, and affection for cats. I have experience with fostering cats, including a senior cat that I fell absolutely in love with and ended up adopting and sharing life with until his final days... It's been nearly four years since his passing now, at the ripe age of 18, but I still miss him dearly. I'm not currently at a place in life where it'd be the best to have a cat of my own, but I've become a go-to cat sitter for my friends and colleagues here in Cambridge.
I work mostly from home and on my own schedule, so I am very flexible and likely able to accommodate what you need, especially around the busy holiday seasons.
I've owned a cat for about 6 years, and I've also fostered three other cats on a short-term basis until they were adopted. I've also owned hamsters and guinea pigs at different stages of my life, but not as recently. I have also been a go-to baby sitter for my colleagues' human children :P
I'm very attuned to different cats' needs - whether they're more attention demanding, fiercely independent, or somewhere in between. I'll also do my best to understand and provide what you need from me as a cat sitter. Having had a cat and looked for cat sitters myself, I know it's a lot to place your cat in someone else's care! I will do what I can to make sure you feel confident that your cat is in caring and trusting hands until your return. I can come in for daily visits for playing, feeding, and cleaning. I will send you updates based on how much or little you like to be contacted. I'm also available for overnight cat-, house-, and plant-sitting. I'm very respectful of other people's spaces. Do get in touch :)
