Hello. I'm Alex.

When people ask me that clichéd question - do you prefer dogs or cats? I find myself saying... I like dogs but I KNOW cats - I just 'get' them. Growing up we had a male tabby cat, that charted my course from a young age.

For me it's their intelligence and quirkiness, and their affectionate natures. And the thought that no matter how domesticated, cats are still just a little bit wild. What's not to love?

The cats I look after already include a young Burmese, two British shorthairs, and a Norwegian Forest Cat.

You can rely on me for the following:

• I offer an initial phone call, and an in-person meeting free of charge so you can see whether I'm the right cat sitter for you and yours. I'll bring my DBS check with me.

• Making sure your cat gets their tasty food and fresh water on time. Plus a few treats if that's what they're allowed. Washing bowls on a daily basis is a given.

• Time for petting and for play time. Whether it's some lovely strokes or chasing a ping pong ball I'm here for it! Being companionable in whatever way your cat most enjoys.

• Ensuring any litter trays are in good order, with nothing hanging around. All kept clean and tidy, refreshing litter as needed.

• Daily updates. Providing photos and/or texts on how your cat is doing is no problem at all. And all part of the service.

• Watering plants - giving them some proper attention if you'd like. So they'll be in good hands too.

For daily visits - Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington. For overnights - anywhere in London.
