About Me

The Great Castby

Hello!! My name is Jess, I’m a 26-year-old casting assistant for video games, and absolute cat lover. I have always had cats all my life, from Maine Coons to elderly cats that require diabetes injections twice a day, to polydactyl cats - we’ve had them all. I work from home currently and have a lot of spare time which I know I could dedicate to a little feline and would love to do so through this. I also volunteer for Croydon Cats Samaritans and currently foster cats with my partner.

I am great at understanding cats needs and respecting their boundaries - after all they own us. So if you have a cat that requires a lot of attention, I am more than happy to sit with them throughout the day and give them regular cuddles and attention. I also get it if you’ve got a cat that doesn’t warm to strangers and needs a bit of distance, to simply be a happy presence giving them food and treats :) I will play with your cat and be with them during their evening zoomies, which I know sometimes can last for about 2 hours. Also, I will also update you with lots of pictures of your cat, as I know we miss them when we go away!!!

    We cannot recommend Jess enough! We had an issue with another sitter, and Jess stepped in last minute once we were already away. Communication was great, she spent loads of time with our cat Nova and sent us daily super cute pictures/videos. Really felt like our cat and house were in very safe hands - would book Jess again in a heartbeat.

    My second time with Jess and she was brilliant again. I received lovely (and often hilarious!) updates every day which was so reassuring, and she was really thoughtful about taking precautions about a health issue my cat had previously.     Jess is the BEST cat sitter - she’s completely reliable, so kind and completely put me at ease as I was leaving my cat for the first time! She sent me plenty of photos and videos to show me how he was doing and I think he enjoyed his time so much he didn’t really want to come home 🤣 can’t recommend Jess enough!
