Professional cat cuddler

Hi! I'm Lizzy, and I've been caring for cats & houses since 2020. I housesat for a friend's gentle and playful cat for 2 weeks, and I've been hooked ever since! Looking after cats, chickens and the occasional dog in multiple countries as well as around the UK has been an absolutely wonderful experience - reviews from external sites available on request!

Although I've never owned a cat, I grew up with guinea pigs and have owned house rabbits as an adult, which aren't too different from cats - litter trays, the occasional tantrum, gentle pets and purrs! As well as the last few years of housesitting my experience includes volunteering at a small wildlife rescue and on farms in Norway & Finland. I've lived & travelled alone for many years so I'm self-sufficient and independent.

I work in a freelance capacity on admin, automations, customer support and project management for small businesses, with very flexible hours, allowing me plenty of time for playing, cuddling, feeding and checking in on your kitties.

My priority is always the cat(s) and house in my care, and I'll do everything I can to keep your pets happy and house safe. I totally understand nervousness or worry about leaving your pet in the hands of a sitter, so I make sure to send a few pictures each visit or a couple of times a day on overnights, and an update on how everything is going. Photographing cats is great fun and a real bonus for me when I'm looking after kitties.

I'm happy to feed, clean litter trays & bowls, sort out treats as appropriate, as well as cuddles, playtime etc. I do have experience administering medication in food and also liquid & tablet oral medication, and am able to provide this service if needed.

Also able to look after your other furry or scaly pals if you have them - rabbits, mice, guinea pigs, snakes etc.

Available for drop-ins and short overnight stays around the Macclesfield/Manchester area, and keen to find longer housesit stays anywhere in the UK accessible by public transport.
