About Me

Purrrrrfect cat sitter!

Hello! My name is Rachel and I have been cat sitting for about 7 years now. I work for Macmillan and love taking every opportunity to help and nurture others. I am very organised, creative and good with kids, etc (so I am fully DBS-checked and house trained!!). I really like painting, live music and hiking.

Cats are my favourite animals- they're just so cute and sassy! I have grown up with cats and am now a fully-fledged cat lady as I have my own mini-tigers at home. My experience means that I am competent in cat care and I am comfortable caring for cats that are new to me.

I am able to do 1 visit per day. The Cat in the Flat wesbsite gives the option of 2 visits per day, however due to the high quality care and good amount of time I like to spend at a booking, I can truly fit 1 good visit in per day around working full time

I am very nurturing and fun, so clients often note how thorough my care is with their cats and that I spend a good amount of time playing with them. I do this by sending lots of pictures and videos of my time with them to make my clients feel at ease and content. I am also very flexible to the needs of my clients and their feline friends to always make sure that I go the extra mile!

    Rachel is so lovely and really great with our cat Olaf. She communicates well, and sends us videos of Olaf while we're away - and Olaf always seems happy and well cared for when we return. We've booked Rachel twice now and will definitely be booking her again in future!

    Rachel has been fantastic with my 2 blind babies.I looked forward to tbe videos I woke up to every morning whilst I was awake She gave them the best care and attention and even coped with kevin who likes to cause havoc when im away .I feel happy knowing my cats were happy.I recommend Rachel 100 %.

    Rachel was so friendly and approachable. Made us feel very comfortable during meet & greet, followed by amazing videos , pictures and updates during her visits this weekend. Both cats were very happy too! Will definitely rebook Rachel for future visits!
