Caring cat owner/vet student

Hello there, my name is Elizabeth:) I am a vet student at Edinburgh and I have an adorable calico cat named Cloud at home.

Before starting vet school, I had been volunteering at a local cat shelter for years. I helped look after senior cats who often had kidney or dental problems. Some of which were petrified of strangers and took months to allow a few strokes from me instead of leaping away. Others would hop onto my lap the moment I entered the room.

I adore cats because they each have their own characters, and are very strong-willed. But once I earned a cat's trust, and she is purring away on my lap, it is the best feeling in the world.

At the moment, I am living with Cloud, my cat whom I adopted last year. She’s a very energetic cat, and she loves to play fetch and do some tricks (like 'sit', 'paw' or 'up') in return for a couple of Dreamies.

I understand how nerve-wrecking it can be to leave your cat behind. I always worry about Cloud when I'm away. I would love to provide some company and comfort for your four-legged family members.

I can drop in and play, feed, groom your cat and clean up as required. I can also just sit beside your pet and let them know that they’re not alone if they just appreciate some quiet time. Would happily send you pictures and videos of your cat on my visits. It would be my pleasure to get to know their personalities, particular likes and dislikes, and follow any routines necessary to help your fur babies feel at ease.
