About Me
Your cats second favourite human
Hello! I’m Marie, a London-based cat-sitter and was a proud human to a lovely elderly cat who sadly went over rainbow bridge recently. I understand just how much our feline friends mean to us — and how different every cat’s personality can be. There’s a cat shaped hole in my life currently but I’m not ready to bring a new cat home yet. I love cats (who wouldn’t) and they seem to like me a lot too. I used to use this site in the past when I was away on holiday and found some lovely sitters, hence I thought I’d help others out with their cat sitting needs. It would also help me get over the loss if my beloved Mr P. I grew up with cats, Innagin being my best buddy as an only child. We also rescued a cat called Puds many years ago, when we moved to the area, he was a real beauty and a gentle soul. I still miss cuddles with him to this day. If you're looking for somebody who genuinely cares about cats, that’s me and I’d be delighted to help.
Whether it’s quiet company, playtime, or simply topping up food and water, I tailor each visit to what your cat actually enjoys. I’m also comfortable caring for older cats or those with health issues. My old boy had kidney failure and was on a special diet, he was also mostly deaf in his last few months, which meant being extra careful not to startle him.
You’ll always get updates and photos after each visit, so you can relax knowing your cat’s happy and your home is safe. I’ve worked in the past for a property management company so I’m used to having keys and making sure a persons home is properly secured after a visit. I have completed and passed a DBS check and have a certificate. I’m also happy to water plants as I’ve a few myself, take in a package or any other small and reasonable chore you may have.
