Quality Cat Sitting

I’m Elisabeth, and I’m about to start university this autumn to study languages. I’ve always been fascinated by how words connect people, and I’m excited to explore new cultures, travel, and maybe even live abroad one day.

At home, I live with Misty, my six-year-old rescue cat. She was shy and skittish when we first adopted her, but over time we slowly earned her trust. Now she’s always nearby—usually curled up next to me while I study or practice French. She’s calm, a little mysterious, and endlessly comforting.

I also look after the neighbourhood cats when their owners are away—feeding them, keeping them company, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, especially cats and their quiet, independent ways.

Right now, I’m enjoying my last summer at home, spending time with Misty, helping out with local cats, and getting ready for everything university has in store.

When I care for cats—whether it's Misty or the neighbourhood cats—I try to make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I know every cat has its own personality and pace, so I’m always patient, gentle, and calm around them. I make sure they’re well-fed, have fresh water, clean litter, and a quiet space to relax. If they like company, I’ll sit with them, play, or brush their fur; if they’re more shy, I give them space and let them come to me when they’re ready. I pay close attention to their behaviour so I can notice if anything seems off. I genuinely enjoy looking after them—it’s never just a task to me, it’s something I care deeply about.
