Calm, reliable care for cats and small pets

Hi, I’m Shanti. I’m a peaceful, dependable cat and small-animal sitter. I really enjoy spending time with animals and helping them feel safe and settled while their humans are away or out for the day.

I take time to listen in to what they are wanting from me, so they feel relaxed, seen, understood and well cared for. I notice subtle changes in behaviour and respond to whatever your pet needs so their emotional and physical wellbeing are both looked after.

I’ve been caring for animals and pet sitting for over 30 years and very attentive to the pets I look after. I’m experienced with the emotional and physical rehabilitation of rescues, and had the joy of my own cats, gerbils and fish.

Alongside pet sitting, I work in holistic wellbeing as a coach, wellness centre owner, massage therapist and energy healer. This comes in handy when cats want a good massage, belly rub or healing for any areas of discomfort. 😍

Whilst I’m new to Cat in a Flat, I have 5-star reviews from another established international house-sitting platform, which I’m very happy to share.

🐾 If you would like me as your sitter, I'll give your pets all the attention they deserve, including: • Feeding your pets carefully and keeping bowls and litter trays clean • Spending unrushed time with them, offering play, affection or quiet company as they prefer • Being patient and gentle with nervous or cautious pets • Giving topical / oral medication if needed • Keeping an eye on health, behaviour and safety • Sending regular updates with photos or videos so you feel at ease.

I’m also happy to bring in mail, water plants, ventilate the home, open/close curtains and keep things tidy and secure. We can arrange a free local meet-and-greet to see if we’re all a good fit!
