We were very pleased with the care and attention Gillian showed in looking after our 2 cats. She sent us twice daily videos and photos of them with funny captions about what they were ‘thinking’ and we could tell the cats took to her instantly. She also watered the flowers and plants in the garden which was much appreciated.

We wholeheartedly recommend Gillian. We needed a trustworthy person to make sure Pan was safe and happy while we were away getting married. Gillian called in twice a day during the wedding, spent a long time playing with Pan, and sent lots of lovely photos that reassured us she was in safe hands. Gillian was the perfect sitter for our pussy Jasper. Gillian is fantastic, a real cat lover and so good we’re not sure we want to share her! This was our first time using the site having received a recommendation, and we weren’t disappointed. Gillian initially messaged and then we had a chat. She then came round to meet our cat and us. She didn’t put any pressure on us to book her and made a real effort to get to know us and everything about Rosie. She visited again before we went away. Gillian was brilliant, she sent twice daily updates and when she was concerned that Rosie was off her food, she checked what she could try and with free reign she tried many things and got her eating again. Rosie was spoilt by Gillian who clearly adores cats and she was the most chilled out and happy she’s ever been on a return from holiday. Aside from being brilliant with Rosie, Gillian went above and beyond, taking in parcels, putting the bins out, offering to get groceries in and leaving the house super sparkly-not expected but a sign of someone you would 100% trust in your home. Gillian is kind, interesting, a lovely person and a real cat lover and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to look after your own furry friend. Rosie definitely has found a new friend!

I'd give Gillian 10 stars if I could! We have a challenging brood of 5 cats and 2 chickens, all with very different temperaments and needs, but Gillian coped admirably with them all. She went to a great deal of trouble to befriend them and keep them relaxed in our absence. We had daily updates and cute pictures which helped us enjoy our break all the more. On our return, the house was spick and span and the cats were all chilled out and happy. We couldn't recommend Gillian highly enough. She's fab and we've made a good friend too!

Have been absolutely delighted with Gillian’s service. Very friendly and reliable, and my cats seem to have had the best time. She seems very experienced and has passed on some of her tips - particularly diet related and training one of the cats to use her cat flap (which was only just installed before my holiday). She also took care of some household things which needed attention while I was gone. Will certainly be seeking her out the next time my fur babies need a sitter.

I found Gillian on cat in a flat through all the brilliant reviews and after she has looked after our two cats this weekend I can safely say I will never be putting them in a Cattery again! Gillian was so brilliant with them and gave them so much love. The house was left in immaculate condition and I felt so at ease knowing Gillian was looking after them and playing with them. I cant praise Gillian enough really. Im very particular about who looks after Bailey, given his medical history and the fact that he needs two injections a day at particular times. It's meant that we've avoided going away previously, however with Gillian looking after him I felt absolutely reassured that he was being looked after well.

Just prior to Gillian sitting for us, Bailey had an unexpected trip to the vet for Pancreatitis, which made us worried to leave him, however he recovered quickly and Gillian kept a close and watchful eye over him, keeping us updated each visit as to how he was, with information as to what he'd eaten, that he had had his mediciation and his general demeanour. We also got some lovely photos too.

The fact that Gillian was not put off by looking after a cat with his needs, allowed us to have our first family holiday in a number of years, without worry. I know that if anything had of happened, Gillian would have let us know straight away and would have dealt with anything until we could get home. Thankfully, Bailey was well throughout and had a lovely peaceful break, receiving lots of fuss from Gillian.

Gillian cat and house-sat for me for 10 days. She was fabulous from start to finish. I was nervous letting a stranger stay in my house and care for my cats, but she was understanding and put me at ease straight away. I had daily updates on my cats, reassuring me that not only were they cared for but also loved, fussed and spoiled frequently. One of my cats has twice daily medication and Gillian was able to give this with little trouble - and he is not known for making easy! On my return, the house and the cats looked better than when I left. I would not hesitate to recommend Gillian and plan to use her again when I'm next away - my cats will certainly look forward to the next visit from their Aunty Gillian!

Gillian did a fantastic job looking after our two boy fur babies. She was attentive and did exactly what was asked from her. One of our fur babies is shy and anxious but loved Gillian and soon came out of his shell as she puts them at ease, spends time with them which is what we wanted. She groomed them with the pet glove and kept us updated daily with pictures. Thank you Gillian, we will definitely be booking you again.

Gillian came well recommended. My son and daughter in law, who live in Perth, Australia, had trusted Gillian with their house and cats for two long periods, while they came over to Spain to see me. I knew that they had been delighted with the outcome, finding the cats in good health and the house even in a slightly better order when they returned home. I therefore expected great things from Gillian and I was not disappointed. I knew she loved cats and that cats loved her. My two ginger boys, Jasper and Rocket, think she is wonderful. She knows what they want almost before they are aware of it themselves. She cannot do enough for them - grooming, petting, feeding special treats and above all talking to them. They just love that. What did surprise me was that Gillian is so much fun! She loves life and is open to any challenge going. Her positive attitude makes her a very happy person and happy people make cats happy. Cats are very sensitive and although they obviously miss the people who are usually around, they quickly realise that time spent with Gillian is going to be very good indeed. Knowing that Gillian is available to look after Jasper, Rocket and my flat has enabled me to consider travelling. She has opened my eyes to new possibilities. She came as a stranger and left as a friend. I cannot praise her highly enough.

Gillian has looked after my current two cats and cats that we have previously owned and has always been very conscientious and caring. She pays great attention to detail and tries her hardest to look after my cats just as we would. She is careful to follow any instructions about their care and feeding. As we all know, cats do have their funny little habits and Gillian goes out of her way to humour them! She genuinely does love having a pussy cat (or two or three) to look after and lavish attention on. I would trust Gillian wholeheartedly anytime with my precious fur babies and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Gillian has house sat for us twice in Western Australia, for extended periods of time. We first met in Santorini where I noticed her feeding stray cats. That's the sort of person I want to look after my cats, so we got chatting and the rest is history. She is a cat-lover in the extreme and their health, comfort and entertainment is top of her priorities. She gave me regular updates online and I had no hesitation leaving decisions regarding their health to her. Our house was kept in tip top condition, actually cleaner and tidier than I can normally manage. She is energetic, smart, reliable and completely trust-worthy. I have no hesitation in recommending her at all, I certainly expect to see her back in Australia again one day.

Gillian has looked after my cats when I have needed her over many years including Ponsonby and Biffo who both lived to a very old age of 19 and 21 respectively. She cared for them even when they became infirm later in life and always treated them with respect and kindness. She made sure all their dishes and feeding area were kept spotlessly clean and she always made sure my house was left secure, She now looks after my present cat, Penny and treats her as if she were her own, whenever I need her. I have found Gillian to be neat and tidy at all times and would have no hesitation in recommending her. Although we share a common surname we are only distantly related and my recommendations come from my experience only.

We have used Gillian's cat sitting services many times in the past. We have had cats that have needed specialised dietary requirements, medicating and one that had diabetes so had to have injections every day. Gillian medicated and injected our cats following instructions carefully and diligently with the well being of our cats at the forefront of everything she does. She has always cared for our cats in their own environment as if they were her own and we can go away knowing that they will always have the very best care possible. We also know that she would not hesitate to liaise with us and the vets should the situation arise, a very important service when leaving your precious cats with medical conditions.
