Cat sitter in London

Hello!

[2021 Update: I've moved back to Madrid, so sadly I won't be able to catsit for the time being.]

My name is Álex and I have been living in London for the past 9 years. I studied Translation and Interpreting, so I love languages (apart from English and Spanish, my mother tongue, I speak Japanese, German, French and some Italian and Portuguese) and getting to know more about the places and people I'm surrounded by. I have lived in 5 different countries and have travelled 50 more, so I'm always happy to share stories and to apply all the cross-cultural knowledge I've been acquiring over the years.

I have no "formal" training in taking care of animals, but I was a cat owner for 16 years myself and I miss being surrounded by animals. Spending most of my summers until I was 18 in a tiny village of the Spanish countryside, feeding pigs, rabbits, cows, hens and other animals is something I'm really comfortable with.

My friends really trust my maturity and common sense, so I'm one of the go-to people when it comes to check on a pet, a property or simply swinging by to water the plants and pick up the mail.
