Poppins 4 Paws - The Vet Nurse Nanny

I’ve always grown up around pets of my own. I have been in the veterinary industry for 7 years, 2 of which I have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I also have a first class degree in animal behaviour and have volunteered in animal care, both in the UK and abroad with a range of different species. I have been DBS checked and have plenty of experience providing dog walks, pop-ins, overnight sits and long-term sits! I’ve grown up with two cats who couldn’t have been more different, personality-wise. I’ve hand reared a fair few kittens during my time working as a veterinary nurse, whilst I’ve equally got a soft spot for the geriatrics! I feel I have a good understanding of cat behaviour and I am comfortable adapting to each individual’s needs. With my veterinary background, I am also happy to administer medication if necessary. I now have my own feline family member, who I rescued when she was abandoned with a fractured pelvis and femur… she has come on leaps and bounds from the anxious stray she once was. she is the sweetest, most precious soul🫶🏼

Each visit or overnight sit is tailored to the individual. Stimulation and playtime can be incorporated according to your pets’ age, ability and energy. Consistent meals, litter tray cleaning and medication administration (if necessary) are important to reflect your pets’ normal routine and keep them settled. Fuss and cuddles are available ALWAYS if wanted, and plenty of personal space is respected if not. Cat naps are also welcomed!!
