Friendly and Experienced Catsitter

Hi, I am Amoret, a cat lover and experienced owner. I have recently taken a step back from full time employment and am loving a simpler life.

I've had cats throughout my life, from my childhood up until now with my own family. My experience ranges from caring for playful kittens to older cats with health issues.

My cat, Angus, was diagnosed with a severe heart condition over two years ago and was expected to survive only 3 - 6 months. However, he's still with us today, enjoying life, which I attribute to my dedicated care and proactive approach to his medication.

While my daughter was growing up, our home was filled with animals. Thus, I've also gained experience in caring for rabbits, hamsters and fish alongside our two cats.

As someone who has hired cat sitters before, I understand the importance of trust in your sitter while you're away. I am DBS checked and can provide documents if required.

Having used cat sitters myself in the past, I understand the importance of fully trusting your sitter when you are away.

I have experience with both young and elderly cats, and I am always ready to feed, play, cuddle or simply spend time with your cat. I can change litter trays, provide fresh water as needed, and I am good at grooming long-haired cats.

Additionally, I am experienced in administering tablet or liquid medications, as well as flea and worm treatments.

Knowing how crucial it was for me to receive regular updates from my sitter, to ensure my cats were safe and well, I can certainly provide this service.

Happy to also collect mail and water plants, if required.
