The Walthamstow kitty sitter

I'm a freelance assistant editor in TV drama and work from project to project so tend to get a lot of free time between each project. As I live in a rented flat, I'm not able to have a kitty of my own, but have always wanted a fur-baby to come home to.

My grandmother had a gorgeous fluffy, ginger cat named Felix for over 10 years so I learned a lot from her on how to take care of animals. Even though he was not a very affectionate cat, we managed to develop an amicable relationship and he let me hold him from time to time. I have also looked after some of my friends' pets when they're away so I'm no stranger on looking after animals.

I love how much character cats have and their attitude to life. They're funny to observe and to try to figure out what's going on in their little heads and when they let you, very meditative and soothing to pet. Any time spent with a cat is a time well spent.

My services include all the basics: feeding the cat, changing water, giving any treats (owner approved), freshening up the litter box and of course cuddles, play time and spending quality time with the cat, if the cat is willing. I'm also happy to send a daily picture/video to the owners to assure them the kitty is taken care of, as well as water any plants and pick up mail from post box/floor.
