About Me
Cat sitter in London
I used to be a Special education/ Art teacher working in primary schools (that's why my I had the Enhanced DBS/ police check), I'm now a designer & work from home for half the week.
We couldn't have pets growing up, and I've mostly lived in rented London accommodation that doesn't allow pets since! I've survived off spending most of my childhood at friends houses, all of which had cats (Monty, Milly, Loki, and my oldest friends cat honestly named 'Puss'!)
My house now allows pets - I tried to work with the RSPCA as a foster carer last year but one of my flatmates were not entirely feeling the idea, so I decided it wasn't a good idea to bring a vulnerable cat/cats into the situation. So now I get my cat-fix here!
I once spent a day hand-rearing a 5 day old palm-sized orphaned kitten in a shelter I was volunteering at, it was incredibly cute.
I've been doing this for about 5 years now, mostly not actually through CIAF, I'm even on the second generation of cats for some people!
IMPORTANT INFO:
Morning visits are usually about 8am, and a few hours later on a weekend.
Evening visits I aim for between 6:30pm and 8:30pm, it depends on where I'm working on the day.
If you just want one visit it's most likely to be a morning one, unless I can take a coffee and read a book on a weekend then it might be later (depends whether your cat's into that!).
(all visit times are rough estimates unless we arrange something very specific!)
I send you pictures via whatsapp on every visit.
Sorry I have a tiny catchment area I'm just quite busy and would rather spend time with cats than walking to cats :P, I can still get double or even triple booked within a 0.1 mile radius in summer! (Although now I cap out at two sits at the same time)
Please note for new sitters I'd prefer it if it's at least 4 visits.
