I am a lady in my 50’s, a mother of two daughters, no lomger at home So now, to keep me company, I have my beautiful black cat, Misty blu, whose the ripe old age of 9 & as it’s just us, I thoroughly enjoy my cat sitting jobs & various other hobbies I love meeting new people, especially fellow cat lovers, meeting their fur babies & spending time in new surroundings, there’s a lot to be said about a change of scenery, especially over the Xmas season

Iv been cat sitting many years now, so you can rest assured, when you book me, you’ll get the service your pet deserves & your home will be respected, safe & secure

Iv always loved cats & have had my misty blu She’s the most friendly, loving cat you could have, so believe me, I know how important it is for you to have a sitter you can trust to take care of all your kitty’s needs If your cat is active & likes to play, I’ll bring along some toys, as I’m happy to play But if your cat prefers quiet sitting & is a little less playful or in its old age, like myself😂, then I’m happy just to go along & relax, have some quiet time, with cuddles & attention for your kitty I make it my mission to attend to your cats in the way you would like, ,if you leave instructions, I’ll be sure to follow them to the letter

I especially like a change of scenery during the holiday season, my overnight rate is reduced as I’m happy to do an overnight or two If you require this plz let me know in advance so I can update my availability calendar & make plans around your requirements

Also, If you have a work trip during the week or you’re needing a weekend sitter anytime, I’m flexible & am happy to do long or short term jobs My routine on a visit usually goes as per my example below, (but of course, at our meeting, before your sitting job is required this will be adapted to suit your needs), ; Example;

I always visit you to do a meet & greet at least a Wk prior to your trip i also like to do a quick pop in to see kitty one more time so they’ll be more comfortable with me & I make this when I’m collecting your keys which is the perfect opportunity to do that

Upon arrival at your property, I’ll be firstly greeting your cat/cats, if they’re not sleeping soundly in their fav spot, that is always my first port of call! If they are on the shy side, I like to wait for them to feel comfortable to come & greet me, I’m in no rush to leave I’ll get on with washing & drying their food bowls & refilling them as per your instructions

I will empty litter trays, dispose of contents, as per your instructions, empty rubbish bins & clean up any accidents I then will sweep or Vacuum the cats main traffic areas, if needed If instructed to do so, I’ll water plants Once those chores are done, the fun part as the rest of my session is spent relaxing with cuddles &/or play with your cat & making sure they are happy, relaxed too & have all they need

I also provide daily pics via WhatsApp, if you’d like them, people often find that a comfort Or I’m happy to call & update you too, some people prefer a FaceTime so they're reassured, just let me know

I’m often asked if I can fold washing, change bedding, wipe kitchen surfaces and dust furniture So if you want your residence fresh for your return, these are extras I do accommodate for a small fee, arranged at meet & greet I am also able to supply you with fresh milk & bread for your return, empty your fridge of any out of date items, leave things out of the freezer for you, at no extra cost, just the reimbursement of grocery money, for which I will provide a receipt, for your info, on the day I hand in your keys Of course, not everyone wants these extra services, that’s also fine, no job is too small, it’s just part of the service I offer should you require it, no pressure if not

Some owners will leave me written instructions to follow, if not I will ensure they are documented on my phone, also during our prior meeting Each owner has their own way they like things done, I will do my best to accommodate your needs
