About Me
Mitch and Mog
Hi, I’m Wendy. I work as a receptionist/administrator in Reading and have always loved cats!
I have known and loved 5 cats in my lifetime. Bonnie, a tabby cat, was a part of the family by the time I was born. We then had Tinker, a beautiful black tortoise shell, who I regarded as my childhood cat. We adopted Fudge, a tuxedo puss, as a kitten and saw him as my baby brother. We then inherited Monty, a tuxedo with long legs, who was our chatty boy. At work, we had Gizmo, a small tabby, who would pop in and fall asleep on the parcel shelfs of Jaguars and Volvo’s and climb the Christmas Tree, amongst his many talents.
I was an educational speaker for Cats Protection Newbury because I felt it important to promote good communication and kindness towards cats whether they are our own or a cat we say hello to on the street.
Please do get in touch and have a chat with me about your cats’ requirements whilst you are away. I am DBS checked. I have received a training session from a vet in administering medication, but I will take guidance from you as what works best for your cat. I am fully aware that every cat is different in taking their meds! Whilst we’re chatting, I will take notes and create a profile for your cat so I can keep up to date of any changes to their requirements.
I offer my cat sitting services in Reading and the surrounding areas.
For your cat, I offer an in-house cat sitting service in Reading where I can make sure your cat is fed, watered, tray cleaned out, and have playtime and cuddles. I have a car so should your cat become ill whilst you are away, I can take them to the vets. Each visit is for 30 minutes, once, twice or three times a day (three times a day is at weekends only).
For your house, I offer to bring the post in, draw/open the curtain and water the plants. Generally, I make your home look lived whilst you are away.
I look forward to meeting you and your cat.
Best wishes,
Wendy
