About Me

Hi there! I’m a full-time mum to a lively 2-year-old daughter who attends nursery in the mornings. Our home is shared with two lovely cats—one is a wise 9-year-old and the other is a playful nearly-2-year-old—and our gentle 10-year-old dog, Charlie.

I’ve always had a deep love for animals and over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for pets belonging to neighbours and family members. Whether it’s feeding, cuddling, walking, or just keeping them company, I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe and loved.

While I’d happily welcome more pets into our family, our current setup keeps me at my limit—but helping care for other people’s furry companions is the next best thing! I’d be thrilled to offer my time and love to your pets when you need an extra helping hand.

The services I offer include visiting your pets twice a day to provide them with necessary care, such as feeding, watering, and cleaning. During these visits, I will spend approximately half an hour with your pets. If you would like me to provide additional visits, we can arrange that without any issues. Additionally, I can send you daily photos of your pets and am open to FaceTiming with them if you desire. I understand the feeling of missing pets while on holiday, as I miss my own three boys. If you would like, I can also take care of tasks such as taking out your bins and bringing them back in, ensuring everything is in order. If you prefer to have your heating on before your return, I am more than happy to accommodate that request. Finally, if you need any items, like milk in your fridge, please let me know and I will make sure it is organised for you. Rest assured, I will play with your cats and provide them with love and care, treating them as if they were my own.

    Irene has looked after our elderly cat several times now, our cat has been lonely since we lost her sister last year but we know that she gets extra attention and cuddles from Irene which gives us peace of mind when we're away.
