Cat sitter in London

Heyy! I'm Roberta I'm currently a student at KCL and I'm staying away from home so what better would a job would be better that allows me to be around my favourite animals whilst away from home and get paid for it!?

This is definitely a service I am super happy to provide not only for my own satisfaction and happiness but also to make sure Im helping others out in keeping their fur babies happy ( even sphynx's haha :') )

I have grown up with many cats, at one point we had 8 cats in the home i grew up in! I have experience with caring for all types of breeds: Sphynx's, British shorthairs, ragdolls, orientals, Abyssians and Cornish rex's so I am very aware of the different behaviours and personalities different breeds have and I love them all!

I have experienced cat pregnancies and supported in births, I've even helped raise kittens since their birth especially when things may go wrong and they stop feeding off the mother I always have cat milk substitutes at hand and always get advice from my vet before intervening.

Its important as a cat sitter to recognise the different personalities each cat has and so services will be based on exactly that for example:

• if a cat is very affectionate and likes being petted then I will always offer cuddling and petting services to help the kitty feel relaxed and calm during times when owners are away or busy

• if a cat doesn't like being petted I will make sure to not stress them out too much and supply the basics needed (food, water, toilet cleaning etc) and I will try engage in some playful exercise with them to try get them to feel more comfortable but if they still aren't the most affectionate I won't bother them too much

• I can clip cat nails

• I can offer baths for sphynx's (however I would need to speak to the pet owners before doing so as I dont want to risk injury in case the kitty is aggressive during baths)
• litter cleaning
• food and water change
• give treats (If the pet owner is okay with this)
• play with the kitties (I can bring my own cat toys if needed)

• groom cats with brushes
