Obedient cat servant, South Liverpool

I’ve loved being around cats all of my life and together with MichelleW (also on Cat in a Flat), I am currently cat guardian to four lovely rescues moggies. I have worked as a Medical Physicist in the NHS for over thirty years.

I know from personal experience how reassuring it is to know that your cats are being looked after by somebody dependable when you’re away. I’d be delighted to cater for all their food, water and toilet needs and administer simple meds if required. I understand that every cat is a unique character and I will aim to provide a bespoke service of strokes / play / conversation to meet their requirements. I have a particular soft spot for more reticent cats and believe in patiently respecting their boundaries until I have earned their trust. In all cases, you can rest assured that your precious cats will be in safe and caring hands.

    Fran was great! He carefully listened to and followed all the instructions we provided. He kept us updated with regular messages and adorable photos of our cats. It's clear he truly loves what he does, and we couldn’t be happier with his care!

From the moment I booked him to look after my gals for the Christmas holidays he was great at communicating and soon arranged to come and meet the gals in person as well as get to know the lay out of the flat.     Fran was brilliant from the beginning, making sure he knew all the ins and outs of what our cat needed. He kept us well up to date throughout the time we were away and sent us some brilliant videos and very stylishly taken photos of Rosie! He really was frantastic, will definitely book again!

    Second booking and just as good as last time. Super friendly, happy cats, everything in its place and frequent updates. Dickie can be a bit grumpy with me after I "abandon" him, but not so when he's been with Fran and Michelle. Thankyou so much!

    Fran is incredible. I got lots of pictures which I was not only thrilled to see, but it showed me they were happy and well looked after. Cordy absolutely fell in love with him. She usually takes a while to warm up to people when I'm not around but within days she was all cuddles. I could write an essay but I'm out of space! In short, book Fran!!

    Fran was great! Fran had great communication before the booking and I came home to a very happy and contented cat! He sent a bunch of photos during his visit and I was put completely at ease, Nina seemed to have a great time playing with her new bud, would highly recommend Fran :)
