Friendly Reading cat sitter

Hello, my name is Lucy and I'm a calm, caring cat-person.

I've been around cats my entire life, both with my own cat and cat-sitting, particularly during lockdown. I have experience with outdoor or indoor cats, confident or shy cats, old or young - and everything in between!

Currently, I spend a lot of time with my family's senior rescue cat, Hazel, who was abandoned to live by herself outdoors. Caring for Hazel, creating a trusting bond with her, and watching her learn to be loved has been the most rewarding experience!

I know from experience how important it is to feel reassured that your cat is getting the best treatment while you are away.

I will make sure you have my contact details and are able to reach me at all times. It's easy to miss your pet and so I can send regular photos to keep you in the loop with how your cat is getting on, and will make sure they are comforted while you're away.

I work from home 3 days a week so can be on hand to spend extra time with with you cat if they are particularly used to human company.
