I'm Jamie, a 36-year-old writer living in Wyke. I've always had cats but my partner has allergies, unfortunately! We also travel a lot so having our own pets is unrealistic (for now).

I am freelance so have a flexible working schedule, meaning I can work around your plans.

Although I am new to CIAF, here are some reviews from another platform I use with my partner:

May 2024: We can always rely on Jamie and Laura to take good care of our cats and our home. As soon as they come into the house, they cuddle the cats and make us feel very comfortable leaving them. I’m fact, the cats enjoy J&L coming to sit so much that they ignore us when we get back.

October 2023: Jamie & Laura looked after our cat for 2 days. They were very organised and reliable from the offset, and we felt reassured that Derek would be in good care. We returned home to not only a happy cat & tidy house, but also to a new cat toy they had left for Derek. Great communication throughout. We’d definitely recommend Jamie & Laura for future sits.

September 2023: Jamie and Laura did a great job looking after our cat Frank while we were away on holiday for two weeks. They kept in touch with us, provided updates and are obviously animal lovers. Frank was clearly in very caring and capable hands.

Happy to spend as much time with your pets as you like as well as providing photo updates of how they are getting on - whatever makes you the most comfortable.

I will come and meet you in advance of your time away to go through your routine and meet your pets.

You'll get photo/video updates and watering plants, getting your post and dealing with bins/lights/curtains etc can also be handled if required.

I can also provide overnight cat-sitting: I have plenty of experience in this area so your home and kitties would be in safe hands.
