Experienced Cat Cuddler

Hello!

I'm an absolute cat lover, hooked from when I got my first cat at 11 years old. I adore all animals but cats come top for me. I love the breadth of their personalities, from those that are aloof and make you work hard for their affection, to those that are needy and want constant attention. There is nothing better than a cosy night in with the cat for me!

I relocated to Glasgow from London recently for my partner's studies, and my job is working for an artist's studio. I have had a cat for most of my life, but after our cat sadly passed away last year we decided against adopting another until we choose where to settle down permanently.

Life doesn't seem complete to me without a furry companion though, so I'm on the lookout for cats (and other animals) to petsit whilst we are in between having our own pets. I'd love the opportunity to get to know your cat and give you the peace of mind that it is being well cared for whilst you are away.

Having owned cats for a long time, and also having petsat for friends' cats in the past, I am happy to care and look after them in whatever way is needed. Feeding them, cleaning their bowls, emptying their litter trays, playing with toys to give them some stimulation and excercise, and of course lots of cuddles.

I have experience of having old and unwell cats, so giving them medication is not a problem and being attentive to their behaviour to check they are okay is all part of the service I offer as a petsitter. I'm also very adept at following instructions if you have anything particular you'd like me to do.

I was quite a nervous cat mum myself, so I know it can often be nervewracking leaving a pet whilst going on holiday, so I will send updates and photos from each visit. I know it can take some shy cats a while to warm up to new people, so I also take my time with trying to build up their trust and coax them out for treats and play time.

I'm also happy to water plants whilst popping in if you are going away for a longer period.
