About Me

Claire's Cats

Hi, I'm Claire. I live in Clarkston with my family, including 2 gorgeous moggies Coco & Vera. I am a total cat lover, spending far too many hours watching crazy cat videos!

I have always wanted to work with children and/or animals. Having just taken early retirement from teaching children for 25 years, I am now free to work full time with smaller creatures with far less homework to mark. What a dream job!

Having had so many years of cat-sitting experience looking after friends' cats in school holidays, I am now using this experience to become a full-time cat sitter.

I don't just 'cat-sit' your cats, I look after them. I spend time getting to know them, and always bond with the cats I look after. I can help with grooming or cat litter training. Many of my cats are repeat clients, the owners being very happy with my service, leaving excellent 5 star reviews.

I am reliable, trustworthy & have had a full Disclosure Scotland check.

I am free to do the full pamper cat service, including feeding, watering, emptying litter tray, grooming, chin scratches, cuddles & head bumps. Along with any play activity, chasing a feather on a stick, throwing squeaky toys etc..

I have completed an online cat-sitting course & am happy to give medication if required.

I will communicate daily by sending updates and photos & videos to give you peace of mind your kitty is being well looked after while you are away. I look forward to taking good care of your precious pets. 😘

    Claire was amazing with our cat Elio while we were on holiday! She visited twice a day, fed, brushed, and played with him, and even took in our mail. Daily updates and photos were a lovely touch. Elio was clearly well cared for. Super reliable and attentive—highly recommend!

    Really delighted with Claire. Appreciated all the texts, pics and video clips of Chas reassuring me that he was doing fine and being well looked after by Claire who went out of her way for him and he can be a bit strong minded. Great job from start to finish and the old boy seemed very happy.

    I can’t recommend Claire enough as a cat sitter! Claire went above and beyond in taking care of our cat Elio, making sure he was comfortable, well-fed, and had plenty of playtime and affection. Every day, Claire sent me updates and photos. She’s fantastic!

    Claire was excellent. She even managed to coax a rub and a roll from our very shy 15 year old cat. We got lots of pictures from Claire and reassurance that Cleo was well, leaving us to enjoy our holiday knowing our cat was in safe hands.

    Will definitely be using Claire again to look after Cleo.

    Claire did a lovely job of looking after our elderly cat while we were away. She gave him his daily medication and stayed for pats and play. We received daily updates and lots of photos. Thomas was a happy boy when we returned. Will definitely use Claire again.

    Claire took excellent care of our cat for a fortnight when we were away and quickly estalished a bond with him despite him being shy around new people.
