Friendly Neighbourhood Cat-Lady!

I am freelance musician and cat owner based in the Chesterfield area. My flexible hours and full driving license mean I am able to tend to the needs of cats all over the Chesterfield and Matlock areas in Derbyshire. I have owned and cared for cats all my life. My job can be rather solitary so I am excited to get to know some fellow cat lovers and their feline friends!

Why cat sitting? I know a lot of cats don't enjoy travelling and can become distressed with a change of environment, which is why cat sitting can be a fabulous alternative.

I have over 10 years of cat ownership experience and have cared for my friends' cats. They often tell me their feline friends who would otherwise be shy around a stranger are happy to interact with me. I think this is because I understand that cats all have different personalities and needs and that I need to earn their trust.

This is why I offer a bespoke services to tend to your individual kitty's needs. My service includes the following:

• Initial meet-and-greet to get to know you, your cat and their needs.

• Washing feeding utensils and refilling with fresh food and water.

• Changing litter trays.

• Play time with their own toys or pet-safe string.

• Cuddles and reassurance (as much as your cat is comfortable with).

• Administering medication if needed.

• A daily update via video and/or photos and a personalised message from your kitty to let you know how they are doing.

I am happy to tidy post and water house plants. I will treat your home with as much care and respect as I do your cat.

I also have experience owning and caring for small mammals (guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits etc.) and fish, which can also be discussed!
