About Me
Friendly & Qualified Cat Sitter in Farnborough
Hi, I’m Katie! I live in North Camp, Farnborough with my husband, our 4-year-old daughter, two cheeky Norwegian Forest kittens (GusGus and Moana), and a very lazy bulldog. Until recently, we were ruled by our beloved tortie cat, Nala — sassy, selective, and full of personality — who taught me just how unique and special every cat truly is.
I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, and over the years I’ve combined my love for them with formal training. I hold certificates in:
Feline Care - Cat Behaviour - Cat Grooming & Health (with a practical cat grooming course booked for Feb 2026) - Pet First Aid - Pet Psychology - Rabbit, Rodent & Small Animal Care - Dog Grooming (Level 2 – achieved with distinction in June 2025) - Dog Teeth Cleaning - Animal Reiki - GDPR
My approach is simple: I treat each cat as an individual, respecting their personality and boundaries. Whether your cat wants lots of fuss and play, prefers a quiet presence, or anything in between, I’ll ensure they feel safe, cared for, and happy.
Between now and my cat grooming course, I’m also gaining as much hands-on experience with different cats as possible — so don’t be surprised if your kitty gets an extra pamper session!
Cats have always fascinated me with their independence, quirks, and affection when it’s on their terms. I’d love to provide the same love and respect for your cat while you’re away.
Services I Provide:
Cleaning up after your cat, including litter trays, bowls, mats, and the occasional sick patch (my tortie Nala was a very sicky cat — I understand!).
Feeding and refreshing water daily.
Plenty of fuss, playtime, or calm companionship — always at your cat’s pace.
Experienced with elderly and more “particular” cats.
Administering medication (to your instructions).
Vet trips if required (I drive and am happy to help).
Care for other small pets (rabbits, rodents, fish) too.
Home care extras such as opening/closing curtains, putting bins out/in, keeping things looking lived-in.
Think of me as “the Borrower” — I come in, quietly sort everything, and leave things as they should be.
Most importantly, I love building a bond not just with the cats I care for, but with their humans too — so you can feel confident and relaxed while you’re away.
