Hello! I'm Jo. I grew up with lots of animals including our gorgeous feline friend, Smudge, but cannot have pets at where I am currently living.

I'm an academic who was made redundant from my permanent post at the end of 2022. Since then I've been doing some hourly paid lecturing and research and am often working from home. When a friend told me about Cat in a Flat, this seemed like the perfect thing to do!

I am 47 years old with two sons who are 9 & 11 and a responsible adult(!), with my own home and a healthy respect for other people's property.

I am based in Thornton Heath, Croydon, but have a vehicle, so can consider jobs within a few miles' radius, depending on which direction from me, and how that affects usual traffic.

I like to establish a mutually respectful relationship with cats until they feel comfortable enough to approach for attention, then I can give your pet some affection as well as the food and care they need.
