Happy Tails

I’m Jay, a 37 year old musician and cat dad living in East Sussex. I come from a family of animal lovers, growing up on my grandads farm I learned very early on how much joy and great company comes from our furry friends! I also appreciate what they mean to us and how imperative it is to have the right care for them while we are away exploring. I have a great affection for cats, understanding and appreciating their individual temperaments and personalities. From the comfortably quiet to the playful and aloof, the senior purr boxes to the zoomy youths, you can trust that your special friends will be deeply cared for and their unique needs met under my care. I have two rescue cats of my own, Dobby and Pepper, both from the Middle East. Dobby is 7 this year and appreciates a nice warm lap or blanket to sit on and watch tv together, while Pepper is just over a year old and likes to explore all the nooks and crannies of the house and climb trees outside. Both cats still love to play and have their hunting instinct stimulated by chasing one of their hundreds of toys, or better yet, their favourite - an old boot lace! I digress, I can often be found talking way to much about my cats..because they are two of the most important beings in my life!

I understand how important it is that you trust the person watching your pets while you are away from them. I can assure that I’ll treat your cats with the same appreciation and respect as if they were my own. I endeavour to keep both owners and cats very happy by sending you regular updates including photos and news of the visits, whether lazy or playful! My main aim is to make sure your pet feels like they have the company and attention they require and deserve while you are away. Feeding them, emptying the litter tray and making sure they have plenty of cuddles and strokes (if that’s what they desire!) is just the beginning. I will go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of your beloved one. I also hold a full drivers license so you can rest assured that I can transport your cat if they should need to be seen by a vet for any reason.
