(Ex Battersea worker) Cat lover missing cat cuddles!

I am a 26 year old cat lover.

I have worked at Battersea dogs home and have completed their cat behaviour and body language courses, so I am more educated about cats than your average Jo! Working at Battersea also allowed me to sit with cats stressed in the cattery and I worked magic to calm them down.

When I was a small child, my focus always was where was the cat when I went to someone's house. When I was 12 years old I was lucky enough to get 2 kittens - Tigger (tiggy bum bum) and Angel (Angie boo boo) - same litter but polar opposites in every way! Since then, my cats have always been my safe place and a form of comfort.

Having moved out of my family house and down to London I am missing the purrs of a fluffy fluff and the softness of their love and fur. I am signing up for cat sitting purely to be able to get some cat love back in my life. When my mum goes away, she calls me all the way back north just so I can catsit and I look forward to these weekends. I have also worked for a charity with young people so I am also fully police and DBS checked.

Having Tigger - a loveable, kind soul who will be friends with anyone and Angel - a reserved, shy yet feisty cat- I know each cat is an individual, has their set ways and preferences (they are the kings and queens of our homes) and as I love them I want to make them happy in whatever way it is for them. How the cat deals with the oh so terrible trauma of you going on holiday I respond to - do they want a distraction and need to be energised with a toy? Do they want lots of extra cuddles and to sit on my knee? Do they want to hideaway and just know that they are being fed? Whatever they want, I will be at their service!
