I've recently retired and have always had a love for cats and dogs. We've had pets in the family for over 20 years and I have a particular fondness for felines. Our family cat, Smiffy, is over 18 years old and still going strong and sprightly.

I love making bonds with the cats I look after - whether that's my friend's felines or my own "grandkitty", Milo - and treat them as if they were my own, giving them lots of attention and strokes, making sure they're happy and their needs are always met.

I believe cats deserve just as much attention as dogs, and I'll ensure your cat gets lots of it, whether that's giving them cuddles, strokes and play time, or simply talking to them and giving them some company if they are a bit shy.

I am more than happy to do drop-in visits to your home, where I will feed them, clean their litter box and spend some quality time with them. However at this time, I can't do overnight stays.

I'll always ensure that your home is safely secured while I'm in your home, and will leave it that way when I come and go. I also check that your pet's water level is sufficient and top up as needed during the stay.

For my own cat, Smiffy, I usually leave a quiet radio or TV on for some background noise, which I'm happy to do so your pets feel less alone while you're not home. I usually pop on an active cooking channel or a radio station with some calming music - whatever you think your pet would love.
