Caring Cat Sitting Service in North London

My love for cats began when I was nine. Rocky arrived on my birthday—a black and white furball whose friendly nature and loud meows lit up my childhood. Our second cat, Dusty, came three years later. A shy-but-sweet tabby. They got on like typical brothers: play, fight over food, play again. But I was sold. I would be a cat person for life.

I work as an Accounts Payable/Payroll Administrator for Triage Vets veterinary surgery in North London—my wife's surgery, as it happens. And, although I work mainly from home and not at the clinic with the animals, I do get opportunities to catsit for clients when they need me. I've been doing it for over 15 years.

Clients love my affiliation with the vet clinic and see it as a bonus in case of an emergency.

Although I have regular clients who are happy to call on me often, I still have more time and love to give to my feline friends!

I make sure to have a thorough understanding of the feeding requirements before I begin a catsit. Written instructions are a must for cats with strict dietary needs or those needing medication with food.

Every cat is unique and I enjoy bonding with them. Some are shy and may take a few days to warm to me, but they'll usually be by my side or on my lap by the end!

I typically spend around 20-30 minutes on a visit, which includes feeding, freshening water bowls, cleaning the litter tray and, of course, petting, brushing, playing, and cuddling!

I will also have a quick scan around the house to check it is secure and to see if a cat may have vomited or brought in a mouse, etc. Any mess will be cleaned.

A room with a closed door is closed for a reason and I will not enter unless told to. I believe in handing the house back the same way it was presented and I'll keep all the main cat areas clean.

Also, I'm happy to water any plants that might get thirsty while the house is empty or wheel any bins back and forth on collection days.

I'll take pictures and videos of all the lovely felines I meet and send them to owners regularly.

I'm based in North London and normally cover the following areas: Mill Hill, Finchley, Totteridge, Whetstone, and Hendon. However, it's possible to stretch slightly outside these areas depending on how far and how many other catsits I have on at the time. Please ask if you're not sure.
