Human Companion for Hire - Finchampstead & Crowthorne

Hi! I'm James, currently a student at a local college studying art (yes, I am over 18!). I'm also a freelance artist, specialising in digital illustration & character design. As if I didn't already epitomise the concept of a homebody, I'm also a writer, and am writing my first book & screenplay in my free time.

Cats are my absolute world, and they've been around me ever since I was a baby. My family has three Bengals - Hermes (12 y/o), Ares (5 y/o) & Dionysus (8 months) - & I am very involved in their care & little lives. I've known Hermes since we were both quite young, so we are extremely close (not to brag, but I'm his favourite person!). I love how cats can simultaneously have their independence, boundaries for personal space and strong/unique personalities, but can also appreciate human company and cuddles. They are such multifaceted creatures, & sometimes I feel they are more understanding than some humans!

I'm a perfect catsitter for both lap-huggers & balls of chronic energy. I'm all good to keep a cuddler company on a chair or sofa whilst I draw (Hermes and I do this often), but I'm also a big appreciator of playtime - I know all the best hand movements & flicks for string toys! I know that every cat has their own unique personality, likes & boundaries, & I am flexible at adapting precisely to each individual.

I'm available for both drop-ins & overnight sitting. I'm free for most of the working week, as most of my college work is done off-campus. I often take my cats on leashed walks or on a stroll with a cat-backpack, so I'll be down to do either for your furry friend if they're used to it! Of course, I’ll always send you regular updates and photos of your little guys.
