Paw Prints on my Heart

Hello I’m Estelle. I love cats and I grew up with many cats as pets ~ Thomas, my first true love, who's passion was to sit in the middle of any game we were playing, Russell, who was a ninja pouncer, Hamlet and Horatio (in my pretentious student days) and Oscar, a black fluff ball who loved to suck woolly jumpers!

Until very recently, my husband and I were cat parents to Florence, half Bengal, she was a rescue cat and we named her after Florence and the Machine because she was so vocal with the largest of meows for such a small cat.

Very sadly, Flo became poorly and she has now passed away leaving paw prints on our hearts forever. After a brief cat free period, we now have Lottie (Tots), a British Shorthair, found as a stray in Woking and now very much a furry part of our little family.

I have been looking after friends and neighbours cats for years when their humans have holidays and I understand that every cat has it’s own very individual temperament and that not all cats love a lot of fuss and that some can be quite shy, especially towards strangers.

I work at a freelance creative for brands and campaigns from home in my garden studio which means I am able to be flexible with times as required and I am happy to help with everything from feeding and cleaning out of litter trays to brushing, cuddles and play. I have also had experience of administering oral medication by syringe and tablets and syringe feeding when our own cat became poorly and with dealing with the occasional presented ‘gift’ (mice ~ mostly alive, but some deceased, and birds too).

I am also happy to help with any other small pets ~ Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils.
