loving and reliable queer pet-sitter

Hello there! I go by Declan, and my preferred pronouns are he/they. When I moved to Scotland in late 2019, I sadly left my own cats in France with my parents. So I started this little career in 2020 to fill the pet-shaped hole in my life and I've never regretted the decision. I'm currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to pet-sit which I treat the same way as any job.

Through many petsitting jobs, I have acquired a lot of experience, on top of my childhood spent with cats and dogs (and I did horse riding for more than ten years). I'm also more than willing to learn about other pets like rabbits, birds, reptiles, rodents, and fish! I love all animals and always do all I can to give them the best care possible.

Reliable, responsible, and caring, I know how much time and attention is needed to make our beloved pets the happiest on earth. I can assure you I’ll do my best to ensure your beloved pet will be properly looked after. I have few other commitments, so my schedule is quite flexible, even more so if you book in advance, but I might be unavailable on really short notice.

I do my best to always stay with the cat while they are in my care and stick to their usual schedule of meals. Mostly I offer a peaceful and relaxed environment for them to have the best time. Cuddles and games are always on the table for me, but I follow the cat's lead regarding socialisation and never impose myself.

Before a booking, I like to enquire about any habit (like food intake, daily routines) and the cat's personality to make sure I adapt myself to them.
