About Me

Experienced pet sitter who needs more cats in her life

Hi! I’m Danielle and I’ve always loved cats and have been a cat owner for 20 years. I currently have a diva British Short Hair, Lilly, who looks just like the cat in my background picture.

I am used to caring for cats of all ages, my first cat lived to 17! I used to volunteer at a local vet clinic so I am confident in my ability to give medication and keep calm in stressful situations. Most importantly, I am great at reading cat body language/behaviour so cats love me. I know when they want more cuddles or when they want to hide away from someone new.

I have pet-sat for many friends over the years and have experience looking after cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and even tortoises!

I live in Wigan. I work from home part-time so can adjust my schedule to suit your cat’s needs. If you want overnight stays, as long as you have WiFi I can work from your house and keep your cat company. I’ve joined Cat in a Flat as I am hoping to get some extra money doing something I love - cuddling cats!

My main aim as a cat-sitter is to keep your cat happy and healthy whilst their family is away. I want my visits to be stress free for both the cat/s and the owners. If your cat has any little quirks, please tell me so I can keep them happy!

Cats don’t like change! To keep everything as stress-free for the cat as possible, I’d like to know as much about your cat as you can tell me. Any house rules, indoor/outdoor, dietary requirements, favourite treats, grooming requirements, favourite hiding spots.

I’m happy to give medication as per your instructions. If you need help getting your cats to a vet or grooming appointment, I can provide this service by prior arrangement. I can cut cat claws on docile cats but may need the owner to hold them still.

I can offer once or twice a day visits and over night stays by prior arrangement.

I also like to send photos of your cat when I visit!

    Danielle was amazing! She went above and beyond for our cat and really spent some quality time with him. Our cat definitely warmed to her and being able to have pictures and videos sent whilst we were away was a lovely touch. Danielle was so lovely and you can tell she genuinely cares for your cat.     This is the second time I've used Danielle for cat sitting, and I honestly could not recommend her enough! I was sent pictures every day, and kept up to date with how my cats were doing. Came home to a lovely and chilled cats.

    Once again, Danielle has taken great care of our precious princess. We had regular photos and updates. Danielle is brilliant with Moochi and knows exactly whether she wants cuddles, playtime, food or quiet time. Likewise, Moochi is relaxed and happy in Danielle's company which is comforting to us as she is such a nervous little kitty.
