Kate’s Cat and Pet Sitting

Hiya! I’m Kate. I live in the Stoke on Trent area and have done for all of my life. I was a prison officer for 16 years but left in 2019 as the long shifts were taking their toll on family life. My son is now older and a lot more independent so I am able to spend more time doing what I enjoy…….working with animals, especially cats! 🐱

I have always had cats for as long as I remember. Marelle, Alfie, Ruby, and currently Holly who I rescued in 2016. I have also had a wide range of other pets including fish, tropical fish, hamsters, canaries, a budgie and even Elvis the snake 🐍

Last year I visited Thailand 🇹🇭 and fell in love with the country. They have a real problem there with stray cats and dogs so now in my spare time I do little things that will raise money to help them. I will be visiting Thailand again soon and my case will be packed with various medical supplies which help to make a difference.

Apart from that I enjoy going to the gym, I am a foodie, and like a good film or box set.

I am reliable and punctual (that’s the prison service in me!) I am also DBS checked and on the yearly update system.

Be sure to know that your cat or cats will be in very good hands with me. I am available almost all of the time and know Stoke and the surrounding areas very well.

I will feed your cat, clean up after them (I will scoop the poop!), cuddles if they like, belly rubs, chin rubs, play…..well anything really as we all know that cats rule the roost and what they demand is final 😄 I will give them medication if required.

If I am already at your house then I may as well be useful in other areas. I will put the wheelie bins out if my visit coincides, water the plants, pick the post, feed the fish 🐠, turn the heating on for your return etc. Just ask me if you have any requests.

I will do overnight stopovers, especially if I get cuddles from your cat!

I can send daily updates and pics if required.

I will also look after any other animals that you may have that may need looking after while you are away with pleasure ☺️. I’m not adverse to any pets really, I even looked after my friends scorpion once but didn’t really attempt any cuddles 🤣
