I'm Sakshi, and I work as a supporter data assistant at Cancer Research. But when I'm not at work, you'll find me immersed in the wonderful world of cats.

My love for cats started when my aunt got one as a pet. Even though I always thought I was a dog person, spending time with her cat changed my mind completely. Cats just have this special something that speaks to me—they're my spirit animals.

I'm quite literally obsessed with cats—if you take a peek at my Instagram feed, you'll see what I mean! I can't get enough of watching cat videos and looking at cute cat pictures.

My love for cats grew so much that I adopted one of my own back in India, where I lived with my parents before moving here. Her name's Mishti, and she's a two-year-old tuxedo cat. Even though we're miles apart now, she still holds a special place in my heart, and I can't imagine life without her.

Cats are a huge part of my life. They bring me so much joy and love, and I'm grateful for every purr and head bump they give me.
