I work for Glasgow City Council and am heading towards retirement, so I'm looking for extra work that I'd enjoy. I've had cats for most of my adult life and we've used the excellent services of Cat in a Flat ourselves therefore I'm aware of how important it is for owners to have peace of mind when they're away.

I love being around cats and interacting with them, but I understand that some can be nervous at first around strangers so I let them move at their own pace. I stay calm when our own cat gets a bit wound up, particularly when receiving medication, injections or during visits to the vet. Have been known to have quite long conversations with cats!

I have a flexible work pattern and I drive so can make visits at most times of the day. I have experience of administering medication, changing dressings and injecting insulin.
