Hi, I'm Laura. I work for The Economist full time - mostly remotely.

Until last year I was a devoted cat mum to my adorable 14 year old kitty (pictured with me). I have a deep affinity with cats and pay close attention to their needs.

I give the same amount of attention and care to the cats I look after as I gave to my cat when she was with me. I'm known as a bit of a cat whisperer with my friends and neighbours, getting even the shyest of their cats to warm to me and come for cuddles when I take care of them.
