About Me
Experienced Cat Rescue Lady! Shy Cats, Grumpy Cats, Elderly Cats, Diva Cats - I love them all : )
Hi there Fellow Animal Lovers!
My name is Sheila and I'm a 59 year young writer with lots of free time, I'm flexible, reliable and I would love to come look after your treasured pets. I'm not able to have cats where I live so I would love to come look after yours, pretty please!
I have been a house/pet sitter for many years living in Greece, looking after my neighbours cats and since then I have done so for friends and family.
Whilst in Greece, I fed, neutered and gave medication to the local stray cats, taking them to my lovely local vet there who still knows me very well.
When I eventually relocated back to the UK I took as many of my stray cats as I could to Germany to be rehomed before I left.
I miss each and every one of them to this day but at least I know I did my best for them....
I miss looking after all of my animals over the years and my dream is to one day return to Crete to help the stray cats again.
I have 20+ years experience looking after cats including kittens, very shy and anxious cats, elderly cats with dementia and diva cats!
I especially understand nervous and shy cats as my last cat Bobby was a shy little man who didn't like the sound of tin foil or loud noises so I am used to giving reassurance and/or space so your pet can come to me when they are ready. Or of course cuddles and plenty of play time if this is what your cat prefers!
I'll make sure they are fed exactly as you'd like, given fresh water, treats and medication and changing of cat litter.
I will send you photos/video on WhatsApp or through the CatInAFlat messaging service or however you would prefer.
I'm also happy to help out with any extras such as watering the plants, just let me know!
I am fortunate to have lots of free time and energy until you get home so do give me a call as I would love to help you out : )
Anyway, stay well and many thanks for reading, Sheila x
