About Me

Cat mom with medical care experience

Hi!

I have 10 years of experience with cats, and I'm a huge fan of animals! I am a freelance costume designer/maker, which allows me to accept bookings for pet sitting on the side. I have experience in aftercare of surgical wounds, giving medication, follow special dietary instructions and checking blood sugar levels/giving insulin injection to cats. I am always very accurate, and get along with all types of kitties very well. I do like to play with them, but if they are not that interested in social interactions, I can tailor the visits around their needs, so I'm always keen to hear about your beloved fur child's needs during the first in person meeting. I normally stay with the cats for 40-45 minutes/visit, unless they need more or less (I always forget about time with very social and playful kitties which makes those visits even longer:) )

If you book with me you can expect a very experienced, reliable and precise sitter, who will always update you about the well being of your pet, with lots of details, photos and videos.

    Would’ve given 6 stars if I could. Dora is excellent at communication. She is friendly, responsible and reliable. She spent quality time with my 3 cats and looked after them and the house well. Her updates after each visit were detailed and sweet. I think my cats will be disappointed to know that Dora is not coming tomorrow as I’m back now!

    I would highly recommend Dora here to anyone without hesitation. She has looked after my cats for three bookings and her services were more than satisfactory. She kept great communication with me, sending numerous video clips from her daily visit, taking time to write detailed reports, and spending considerable time to play with the cats as promised, after feeding and cleaning around them. I can see she really loves the cats from heart, so the cats love her back and open up towards her, they are smart creatures.

    Dora helped out at short notice. Thankyou. My 2 cats absolutely loved having Dora here, she sent me many photos and videos which were lovely to see and how she interacted with them. She fed and cleaned the litter tray just as I asked her, and she even watered the garden. All in, Dora is an smazing, caring and reliable sitter.

    Dora was a wonderful cat sitter to Storm. She was very attentive, and gave us detailed updates and lots of photos. I really appreciated the level of care she provided. And I would definitely ask Dora to look after Storm again! :)

    Dora was marvellous with Tigger. She kept me up to date with how he was and was very attentive. So much so that Tigger did not follow me around for 24 hours like he usually does when I get back. He was happy and chilled. Thoroughly recommend
