cat sitter?
About Me
Trained veterinary surgeon. Overnight stay cat sitter
My name is Anjali and am in my 30's. I originally trained as a veterinary surgeon and worked for a couple of years in a small animal practice after training. I absolutely loved the animals and owners 😻 but the work life balance unfortunately didn't work for me. So I retrained and now work for Transport for London as a city planning analytical manager. However, I am really missing spending time with cats!
Me and my husband had adopted a cat (Pokey) that had been left outside my vet practice completely disheveled and unwell. The nurses knew I was looking for a cat so it was meant to be. I brought her back to good health and estimated her to be around 22 years old! She had the best few years of retirement with us being pampered. I particularly love old, feisty tortoiseshell cats who love to knead biscuits because they remind me of my beloved Pokey!
My husband and I often look after friends and family's houses and pets while they are away. I also used to have a small dog walking business pre-uni where I offered house sitting services as well and received excellent feedback.
With my veterinary training and my love for all cats I am well equipped to provide cat sitting for pretty much all eventualities. This means you can rely on me for:
- plenty of cuddles and affection - of course!
- grooming / nail clippings (if appropriate)
- administering medication including injections
- feeding / specialist routines
- excellent care in an emergency situation
- feisty cats
Please get in touch about any specific requests & we are looking forward to meeting you!
