Hi, I'm Amanda. I have a beautiful white cat of my own called Isaac. He came to me from a rescue when he was 4 years old in 2022. I have looked after many different cats both before and since signing up to Cat in a Flat. In 2025, I looked after 25 cats for 18 different clients!

Amanda was brilliant. This was our first time with her looking after our cat and she took time to come and meet him a few days beforehand. She patiently wrote down all of our cat’s likes and dislikes as well as some quirks he has such as a ‘launch gap’ in the curtains….Amanda definitely went above and beyond as our cat had an unfortunate tummy issue in several places around the house. This is completely out of character but likely due to the chemotherapy he is currently undergoing. Amanda sorted things out so we didn’t have that to deal with on our return a few hours later. It was brilliant to receive the videos and photos showing our cat relaxed and being himself - they are reassuring to see. Thank you Amanda 🐈⬛

Amanda was fantastic - both our cats warmed to her right away! After the meet and greet I was confident they were in safe and knowledgeable hands. She was quick to respond to messages, and sent loads of photos and videos! I highly recommend Amanda as a cat sitter!
Amanda is a great cat sitter! Our cats absolutely loved her (and we absolutely loved the amount of pictures we got). She's super professional and prepared, and clearly loves cats and spending time with them. Bibi and Marvin had a great time with her, and she was wonderful to interact with. We had to last minute add some medication to the routine as Marvin had developed some mild swelling and this was no problem at all for her! Would definitely book her again ☺️
Amanda is an absolute star and an amazing cat sitter. She managed to look after our cat last minute due to a family emergency and had to travel leaving our kitty home alone 🥺 but Amanda came to the rescue, managed to fit a pre-visit, and even though our cat is quite shy, she managed to win him over! The chicken treats helped 😋😋 We got lots of photos and videos and daily updates. Exactly what we needed especially when already going through a tough time, it was so comforting to see our little kitty everyday. Thanks again Amanda 🐈⬛😊

Schedule
I do a mixture of working from home and in the office (Cambridge, so not far) and I am around most weekends. This means I have quite a bit of flexibility.
- Amanda can host up to 6 drop-ins per day
- Once a booking has been made, I will come for a free pre-visit before your trip so that you can meet me, introduce me to the cat(s) and show me where everything is kept etc. I tend to get in touch one week before the booking starts to organise this. I look forward to hearing from you!
