About Me

Beckenham-based cat sitter

Hi there! I'm a seasoned cat owner/fosterer/carer who's available for short-term (daily) pet-sitting duties. I grew up with cats, and I've previously worked as an animal carer in shelters and volunteered for various rescue charities - both in physical care and in admin/social management. I have experience with administrating medications and dealing with behavioural issues, and have a very calm and quiet energy, so I'm very well-placed to look after your moggy.

I’d be very happy to keep your cat(s) or other pets company - whether that means playing, cuddling, feeding… or just being a comforting presence in their home/the dinner lady! Enrichment and routine is so important when it comes to cats, and I know it can be stressful for them when their regular humans aren’t around and life looks a bit different. I’ll always go at their pace, and keep calm and quiet if that’s what they need to establish trust. I’ll try and keep set times for visits where possible, so they learn that I’m a friend!

    We’re so glad we found Lanna! She was looking after our cats for 1.5 weeks. The cats loved her and clearly had a great time! Lanna sent me updates from every visit with lots of pictures, so I knew what my boys where up to. They had lots of play time and cuddles and we came back to very happy cats. Thanks Lanna!

    It was the first time I had Lanna look after my cat and had a great experience. Very caring and attentive, kept me informed of what was happening every visit with photos. Billie is not usually fond of strangers but I think she really enjoyed being looked after by Lanna! Will definitely book again.

    Lanna is a great cat sitter- both our cats felt comfortable with her very quickly, and she gave regular detailed updates. She also did some garden watering which was much appreciated in the hot weather. We will definitely book with her again.

    This was my first time leaving my girl with someone I didn’t know, and I was a bit anxious. After 15 days away, I returned to a happy and healthy cat. Lanna is professional, experienced, and truly caring. I’m truly lucky and appreciative to have found her! She also went above and beyond by collecting my mails and watering my plants unprompted! TY!
