I admit, I was a little nervous allowing a stranger into the house and also trusting them to take care of Yasmin. Our last cat sitter recently retired, we’d had her for 18 years. We had a great experience with Helen. She is a lovely person - really personable and we immediately like her. We new our Tiger Lily would be in good hands. Helen was great at keeping us informed on her visits. She sent us videos and commentary with updates on feeds and strokes. It was clear that they got on well and we would love to have Helen looking after Tiger Lily again.

Helen already took care of my furry boys during Christmas so I was sure they were in good hands during this Easter. She updated me twice a day with videos of my cats. Helen not only fed them but lovingly played with them, combed them, and remained patiently seated reading so Ren and Ryu became very friendly and used to her presence. From the point of the meet and greet, Jinks clearly took to Helen and we had no worries - it made our holiday to know he wasn’t sad, lonely or anxious at home! I found Helen’s cat-care experience, combined with her warm and cheerful nature, exactly what I was looking for for our lovely boy! Helen was helpfully communicative and established a routine with Jinks that he was happy with. We will definitely trust Helen to look after Jinks again and arranging it through Cat in a Flat takes away any awkwardness between the cat owner and cat sitter such as dealing with payments.

Helen is an absolute super star. She is so calming and reassuring. Helen met me two days before my vacation and took the time to listen to my cats' routines and understand the lay of the house. Everyday she spent time with my cats in adition to just feeding them. She posted me videos to comfort me in that they were absolutely fine. I would definitely request Helen to look after my "fur babies" again and would have no hesitation in recommending her outstanding service to others.

Excellent as always

I was a little apprehensive about leaving my cat to be looked after at home so I booked Helen and went out for a long day trip to teet the water. I needn't have worried. Helen took the time to visit us before the booking to find out what was required and to meet Milo. On the day of the booking Helen texted to reassure me that everything was fine and sent a lovely photo of Milo looking very happy and chilled. I feel much more relaxed about booking for when I'm actually away and I'd book Helen again in a heartbeat.

Helen completely understands different cat personalities and how to build relationships with both them and their owners. I will feel confident leaving my cats in her care whenever I go away in future.

Wonderful cat sitter! Great communication and a very happy cat. Her daily updates and videos of our cat were lovely, let us know how well he was getting on and we really looked forward to getting them. She also groomed our cat, which not only did he enjoy, but we came back to a very glossy, smooth, and relaxed cat. She understands and cares for cats very well.
