I'm a huge cat lover and former owner of a mix of homely house dwellers and adventurous outdoor felines.

Although I don’t currently have a cat of my own (due to lease restrictions), I’m channelling my passion and experience for cats into providing a professional cat-sitting service after years of owning cats since I was a child. I stop to say hello to every cat I meet in the street too as I love to meet new cats and love learning about their individual characters.

History of my cat care: 🐾 Gruffalo, a mature black panther lookalike adopted from Brighton City Cat Shelter who had cancer on his nose. He lived his best cheeky life knocking things off the table, late night run arounds after the red dot laser light and early morning chats before breakfast. 🐾 Girlie a placid mature adopted black & white cat who loved cuddles and sitting on your lap and being close by to the computer so much so she used to walk on the keyboard and start webchats! 🐾 Kitcat / KC adopted as a mischievous kitten after a friend had a baby that the cat didn't get along with. KC scaled the curtains and was just a buddle of energy that never tired of chasing feathers. 🐾 Tisha was adopted as a young cat who was my first cat love. She was a beautiful tortie who loved chin rubs but don't ever touch her tummy. She was a stealth hunter and would often bring "presents" despite having a bell on her collar.

I've really enjoyed looking after several Cat In A Flat kitty clients including: 🐾 Ember is a playful tortie and white who was a delight and we've had 2 holidays together now.. She is a keen hunter of her various toys including the pink and white feather sticks and a flippy fish. She knows exactly where and when to get treats and jumps on the window sill and points to the cupboard in case you need reminding. 🐾 Sisters Sooty & Sweep, Sooty loves to be brushed and I renamed the game "hide and seek" to "Seek the Sweep" as she is great at hiding but cannot resist a treat trail. 🐾 Looseal who I was told was definitely not going to want much cuddling and fuss and it turns out she couldn't wait for a lap cuddle each time I visited and we had lots of good chats and remembered me on her repeat booking 🐾 Wolfie who is a night time prowler and is sleepy in the daytime after he has his Dreamies and loves a good brush after breakfast. 🐾 Penny who is an energetic kitten who hasn't explored outside yet so loves playing indoors with her toys. 🐾 Minnie who is a majestic white cat who loves a lap as long as she has had her painkiller for her joints. She still likes trying to get the red dot and her feather toys.

My goal is to provide personalised, loving care to each cat I look after and I treat them as if they were my own. I’m committed to their well-being and happiness and providing you reassurance whilst you are away.

🐾 I walk to clients or drive a plain little car with no signage or no uniform because I don't want your neighbours to know you at not at home. 🐾 Prices are per visit, not per cat. 🐾 Free key collection & drop off 🐾 Visit times working around parking restrictions (if possible and the owner is flexible) 🐾 Drop in or all day / night services

All my visits include all the below (as required): 🐾 Food & hydration as per your instructions 🐾 Keeping the cat's area clean 🐾 Videos / photos sent to you during every visit 🐾 Playtime and cuddles (if the cat wants this) 🐾 Litter cleaned/changed 🐾 Rubbish & recycling bins out / in 🐾 Moving post 🐾 Open / close curtains / lights 🐾 Watering of plants 🐾 Feeding other small animals 🐾 In person key return in case your travel back is disrupted 🐾 Can also provide visits to sit your cats during tradespeople visits keeping the kitty happy whilst they are in the home
