About Me

A Cat Lover, A New Cat Sitter

Hi there, I am Ying, a cat lover and also a landscape architect and urban designer working in Farringdon. I have always been very interested in cats but unfortunately didn't get a chance to have one. One of my design projects in college was to observe the habits of stray cats on campus and design a space for them to live and play. I want to be a cat sitter now because last year when I was feeling down and sad, my neighbour's cat came to visit me in my backyard every afternoon, and the time spent with her deeply healed me.

With the experience of having fun with my neighbour's cat for nearly one year, I am an excellent treat giver. I can do common feeding, change the cat litter and groom the cat. Also, I can tell them stories in both Chinese and English if they don't think I talk too much. Additionally, I am very good at taking photos of cats (you can check my ins bio) if you are interested in having lovely protraits of your cats.

    Ying visited us prior to the cat-sitting dates to familiarise herself with everything, which we really appreciated. She stayed overnight, kept the cats company, and made sure they were well-fed and cared for. Her updates were reliable and on time, giving us peace of mind while we were away. We feel completely comfortable leaving our cats with Ying!

    We were Ying’s first mission, and she did brilliantly with our three hyperactive cats, each with different personalities. She provided plenty of updates on the important things and kept a daily checklist of their eating patterns. This really put our minds at ease and let us enjoy our holiday. We’d love to have Ying care for our cats again!
